The physical exam for constable tradesmen recruitment was organized by SSB in the month of September 2023. After conducting the physical exam and releasing the result, the written exam in CBT mode was conducted on 26 and 27 December. SSB Tradesman Selection Process 2024
For the first time, Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test were conducted for Tradesman recruitment by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). After conducting the physical exam, a computer based test was conducted. Now there will be document verification and trade test. After the trade test, medically fit candidates will be appointed to the post of tradesman.
- PET/PST : First Stage of Vacancy Comprises of Physical Exam.
- CBT : All Physically Fit Candidates Were Eligible For Computer Based Test Organized By SSB For Tradesman Post.
- Document Verification/Trade Test : Documents of Candidates Will Be Verified At Designated Centre And Trade Test Will Be Concluded.

Tradesmen are paid salaries under Pay Matrix Level 3 by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). After being selected for the post of Tradesman, the candidate will get Rs 21 thousand 700 to Rs 69 thousand 100 every month.
