SSB Recruitment 2023: Apply for 1656 Vacancies for Constable Tradesman, SI, ASI, HC
The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released a notification for the recruitment of 1656 vacancies for the posts of Constable Tradesman, Sub Inspector (SI), Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), and Head Constable (HC). The online registration process started on 20th May 2023 and the last date to apply online is 18th June 2023.

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI):

The eligibility criteria for the posts are as follows:
For the post of Constable Tradesman:
- Age: 18 to 25 years
- Education: 10th pass
- Height: 165 cm for male and 152 cm for female
- Chest: 80 cm for male and 75 cm for female
For the post of Sub Inspector (SI):
- Age: 21 to 28 years
- Education: Graduation with 50% marks
- Height: 168 cm for male and 157 cm for female
- Chest: 85 cm for male and 75 cm for female
For the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI):
- Age: 21 to 28 years
- Education: 12th pass with 50% marks
- Height: 168 cm for male and 157 cm for female
- Chest: 85 cm for male and 75 cm for female
For the post of Head Constable (HC):
- Age: 21 to 28 years
- Education: 10th pass with 50% marks
- Height: 168 cm for male and 157 cm for female
- Chest: 85 cm for male and 75 cm for female
The application fee for the posts is as follows:
- For the post of Constable Tradesman: Rs. 100/-
- For the post of Sub Inspector (SI): Rs. 150/-
- For the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI): Rs. 150/-
- For the post of Head Constable (HC): Rs. 100/-
The selection process for the posts will consist of the following stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Written Examination(CEE)
- Details Medical Test (DMT)
